About the Girlies Guide

The Girlies Guide is a female-led community built on genuine connections.

The Girlies Guide was started after recognising there weren’t enough spaces where women feel safe, seen, and supported.

The goal was to change that, to build something that felt like a group chat come to life. A place to connect, have fun and meet other amazing girls along the way.

It’s about creating the kind of community that’s always been needed, so no one ever feels like they have to go it alone.

Our story

Hi, we're Rachel & Mia, the founders of The Girlies Guide

After we graduated, we quickly realised that making new friends wasn't as easy as it used to be. No more student nights out, no more joining random societies, and no more bonding over life stories with strangers in the girls' bathroom. It was just us, out in the real world, wondering where all the fun (and new friends) went.

There were tonnes of online communities for girls to connect, but we wanted to take things offline and bring people together in real life, on a much bigger scale. And just like that, The Girlies Guide was born!

It's been a journey with lots of trial, error and learning over the years, but we're so excited to keep bringing you amazing events and growing this incredible community.
